Smart Electronics Ltd is a dynamic and growing electronics manufacturing company based in Shannon, Ireland, serving high-reliability sectors such as medical, agritech, and industrial instrumentation. We are now seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead and optimise our electronic assembly operations.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, preferably in a regulated environment
• Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial role
• Familiar with quality systems such as ISO 9001 / ISO 13485, and Lean/6S principles
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems (e.g. EFACS, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, low-to-medium volume, high-mix production environment

• Lead daily operations of the PCB assembly, box build, and test production lines
• Manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and quality targets
• Supervise, train, and motivate a cross-functional team of operators, technicians, and supervisors
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support NPI and ongoing production
• Analyse production data (OEE, yields, throughput) and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure strict adherence to ISO 13485, IPC-A-610, and other regulatory/industry standards
• Report on KPIs and actively participate in audits, customer visits, and management reviews
