Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Production Manager you will ensure work targets are met in line with the efficient use of resources and maintenance of safe work practices by:
- Providing supervision and leadership to all staff during the relevant shift to ensure all objectives are met.
- Providing advice, preparing, submitting and managing the processing for licence/permit applications.
- Participating in the development and implementation of annual action plans.
- Managing scheduling of Daily production. Identifying any backlogs and bottlenecks and resolve.
- Compiling and delivering information to the Operations Manager and ensuring reports are accurate and the information is relevant to assist with contractual reporting.
- Understanding and working within QLD government processes and the National Disability Insurance Agency to support the successful assimilation of internal systems and processes across the organisation.
- Reviewing costs on a daily basis to ensure accurate and efficient spend.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?
- Demonstrated experience working within a Quality Assurance Framework
- Qualifications in Manufacturing/ Business or transport (desirable)
- Possession of a current drivers licence
- Forklift license (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in leading and coaching teams to achieve set outcomes and desired behaviours within a quality and workplace health & safety framework.
- Proven track record in a commercial environment where customer relationships were established and sales targets and business unit objectives achieved
