Job brief We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all production lines and maintaining the highest quality standards in our output. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and organize production schedules to meet demand. • Assess project and resource requirements to optimize workflow. • Estimate, negotiate, and agree on budgets and timelines with clients and management. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. • Establish and uphold quality control standards throughout the production process. • Oversee and monitor production processes to ensure efficiency. • Adjust timescales or schedules as necessary to meet changing demands. • Select, order, and purchase materials required for production. • Organize repair and routine maintenance of production equipment. • Collaborate with buyers, marketing, and sales teams to align production with market needs. • Supervise and manage junior staff, providing guidance and support. • Organize and facilitate relevant training sessions to enhance team skills. Requirements and skills Qualifications and Training: • Diploma or Degree in Electrical, electronic, mechanical, process, or production engineering Key Skills: • Experience with Assembly Engineering in Connectors industry • Deep knowledge of production management and quality standards. • Understanding of health & safety regulations. • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts. • Experience in reporting on key production metrics. • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software. • Outstanding communication ability and strong interpersonal skills. • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. • Attention to detail and strong decision-making skills. • Results-driven approach with confidence and problem-solving capabilities. • Managers must also be able to handle responsibility and the pressure of meeting deadlines. Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8am to 5:45pm
