The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Manager capable of running our flapjacks manufacturing department consisting of 40 operators and a mix of high-tech kit and manual processes. You will be responsible for ensuring safety standards are adhered to, and KPI targets are met, driving production, quality and training through your teams. A positive shop floor culture is critical for us, and you will play a key role in cultivating this whilst driving the team and department to continuously improve in all areas.
As an expanding and improving family Business, we’re looking for someone to help us drive performance to the next level. You will play a key role within our small management team, so we’re looking for someone who can really bring about change and work collaboratively with Senior Management. This role would suit an experienced professional, or a motivated individual looking to take the next step in their career.

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent problem solving, communication and organisational skills

• Willingness and ability to learn
• In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety
• In-depth understanding of food safety requirements (HACCP, BRC, GMP)
• Experience of implementing production management methodologies, such as Lean, 5S, etc
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Computer literate on basic Microsoft packages
• Experience within food industry (desirable)
