As a Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing Manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient and sustainable production processes while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Management – Lead and develop a team of Shift Supervisors.
  • Quality & Compliance – Drive a “right-first time” ethos and oversee audits & corrective actions working very closely with the Technical Team.
  • Customer Service – Ensure customer service is always at a high standard and liaise with external stakeholders.
  • Performance – Ensure production schedules are met in line with customer demands and planned efficiently and within budgets.
  • Cost Optimisation – Identify & implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Health & Safety – Drive a zero-accident culture and ensure risk assessments & safety standards are always met.
  • Continuous Improvement – Implement & Drive a continuous improvements culture within your team to drive change.

ABOUT US

Deli 24 is a privately owned business, and we were the first to offer HPP (High Pressure Food Processing) in the UK. We are a leading European provider of this service on a contract basis to a wide range of food manufacturers.
Our facilities have been constructed to exacting standards to ensure they meet BRCGS and retailer Audit standards which along with our excellent Operating and Quality Management Systems enable us to maintain BRC & Audit Accreditation with several major UK retailers.
We operate:

3 shifts Monday to Friday

  • Days 06:00 to 14:00
  • Lates 14:00 to 22:00
  • Nightshift 22:00 to 06:00 (small team)

The business does not operate at weekends but does open on occasion depending on our customer demands.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £50,000.00 per year
