Description
Lead the team to meet the build plan daily. Lead Tier 1 meeting and resolve issues or escalate to Tier 2. Attend Tier 2 daily. Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards. Continuously seek areas for improvement and to lead kaizens. Cell replenishment, and cell bin sizing (with strider). Inventory signaling, material put away, kanban box execution, identify potential shortages and other items owned by striders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, and logistics) to optimize daily production. Troubleshoot production challenges and resolve operational issues related to your direct team. Monitor workflow efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements. Address any quality-related issues promptly. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to keep machinery functional. Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and perform any required safety reporting. Uphold 5S standards and lead 5S projects. Temp management including opening roles, working with temp agencies. Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and personnel. Responsible for cross training and the training process. Lead and motivate production staff, including operators and technicians. Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and address performance issues. Organize training opportunities to enhance team skills. Manage and direct factory team members including operators, team leads, and repair technicians across multiple shifts. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure effective performance. Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, preferred, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 1- 5 years of experience in leading people, preferably in electronics manufacturing. Ability to adapt to a dynamic production environment. Ability to influence others to accomplish work tasks and achieve results. Analytical mindset for process optimization. Effective communication, conflict resolution, and objective judgement are critical to success in this role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
