This position is located in Windsor, Ontario, one of two sites located in Canada offering softgel development and manufacturing capabilities for the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health industries. We have a broad range of integrated formulation, manufacturing, analytical and packaging services to offer full-service turnkey solutions.
Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, the Production Manager – GCU/ Encapsulation is accountable for strategic, operational and leadership responsibility for all Windsor production areas (non-Finishing/SPS). The Production Manager – GCU/ Encapsulation directs all operational aspects of the site’s gel preparation, utilities, compounding, and encapsulating work centers and is accountable for all manufacturing activities including management and oversight.
Shifts: Regular working hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
This position is 100% on-site at the Windsor site.

• Lead production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery (OTIF), and cost targets.
• Provide leadership and performance management for direct reports and hourly staff.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships across departments and with union representatives.
• Oversee production budgeting, manpower planning, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, GMP, and health & safety requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain a state of audit readiness and Act as site lead in the absence of the Director of Operations and be available for extended hours/weekends when required.
• Support new product launches and lead manufacturing investigations with timely corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
