POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production team, ensuring high-quality output, efficient workflow, and timely delivery. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Plan, direct, and coordinate the daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules and quality standards are consistently achieved.
· Opportunity to innovate with AI-driven automation across processes, machinery, and production systems.
· Manage and supervise production teams, including operators, technicians, and supervisors, fostering a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
· Develop and implement production plans, procedures, and systems to optimise productivity and operational efficiency.
· Monitor production output and adjust resources and processes to meet production targets, deadlines, and customer orders.
· Oversee inventory management for raw materials, packaging, and finished products, maintaining accurate stock control and supply continuity.
· Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) regulations, and other relevant Australian standards for the manufacture of nutrition supplements.
· Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Research & Development teams to troubleshoot production issues, improve product quality, and support new product development initiatives.
· Prepare and manage production budgets, monitor costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
· Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and development programs for production staff to maintain a skilled and compliant workforce.
· Implement and manage occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
