Jaylor Fabricating Inc. is looking for a Production Manager to join our team.

WHAT WE DO:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proven leadership and management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to reorganize and prioritize as customer demands change
  • Ingenuity and creativity as related to pivoting priorities and solving issues on the fly. Jaylor is not a standard production shop. Issues can come up and pivots are needed on the fly in order to get our product out the door. The scheduled work has lots of variability to it
  • Solid understanding and demonstrated experience with ERP and reporting systems
  • Knowledge of farm equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead, organize, and coordinate production employees and duties
  • Manage, organize, and coordinate maintenance of machinery, buildings and the property
  • Play a strong role in the communication between engineering, logistics, inventory, sales, purchasing and manufacturing employees as it relates to product changes and inventory stock.
  • Schedule production subsequent of the master production schedule and maintenance as it relates to product and equipment requirements.
  • Maintain all department inventory and insure that such is in good working order
  • Ensuring the finished product is up to the quality standards of the organization.
  • Has the ability to reorganize and prioritize as customer demands change
  • Health & safety oversight – we all go home safe at the end of the day.
  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday
