Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations on our late shift. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that products are delivered on time, in full, and to the highest quality standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The role is pivotal in managing people, processes, and performance across the production floor, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and motivate production teams to meet daily targets and quality standards.
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance and ensure machinery readiness.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with ISO and health & safety standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Manage labour costs, material waste, and production efficiency.
  • Conduct return-to-work interviews and support staff retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Engineering and Transport.
  • Present daily KPIs including output, breakdowns, H&S issues and more.
  • Support the introduction of new products into the manufacturing process.
