PRODUCTION MANAGER - PACKAGING

Location: Leicester
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000+ per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 start
Holiday: 28 days annual leave + bank holidays

As the Production Manager, you will oversee daily operations on the shop floor, managing a mid sized team of staff members. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient production processes, maintain high-quality standards, and foster a motivated and engaged workforce. You will be instrumental in planning, implementing, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support the company’s growth objectives.

• Plan and allocate daily tasks to all team members, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow.
• Monitor production schedules, ensuring timely completion of orders while maintaining quality standards.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting regular risk assessments and promoting a safe working environment.
• Provide training and development opportunities for staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain effective communication with sales, shop floor, and transport teams to align production with customer requirements.
• Report directly to the Directors, providing regular updates on production performance and any issues that may arise.
