Job Title: Production Manager (Weekend Operations & Weekday Support)

Job Type: Full Time - 37.5 Hours a Week - Friday - Tuesday

Job Summary: The Production Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all pharmacy production operations, with a predominant focus on weekend shifts. This role requires a strong leader who can drive team output to ensure accurate on time dispatch of goods from the pharmacy. During the week, the Production Manager will support core operations, contribute to process improvements, and provide support to both the Senior Operations Manager and Superintendent Pharmacist.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Essential:
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a lean operational environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using data and general IT skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and patient safety.
• Flexibility to work predominantly weekend hours and provide weekday support.
• Desirable:
• Experience with lean manufacturing or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation specific to pharmacy environments.
