Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As the Production Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and develop the production team while driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor production strategies, policies, and plans.
  • Oversee daily production activities, ensuring efficiency in quality, cost, time, and labour requirements.
  • Manage the operation of production facilities, including scheduling, maintenance, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor output and costs, adjusting processes to maximise productivity and minimise waste.
  • Communicate production outcomes and updates with senior management and other departments.
  • Lead the acquisition, commissioning, and implementation of new equipment and technologies.
  • Research and recommend improvements to manufacturing processes and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of production reports and records.
  • Provide leadership, training, and performance management for production staff.
