PRODUCTION MANAGER

Our client a successful engineering company are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have proven experience within engineering and manufacturing and experience in managing a team.

THE ROLE

• Plan manufacturing and dispatch of product to ensure customer requirements are met
• Resolve problems within the production workshop
• Ensure any quality issues are resolved and implement changes to procedures if required
• Work with the production team to plan and execute continuous improvement activities
• Advise Senior Management of resource requirements
• Appraise the teams performance and provide support to them to ensure targets are being met
• Monitor production cost and spend to ensure budgets are not exceeded
• Responsible for leading and managing the production team
• Promote high standards for quality of work
• Ensure safe working practises are followed and working with the Health and Safety team to implement changes and procedures when required
• Any other duties, within reason and capability, as agreed with the Senior Managers
