DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in GCC structural steel fabrication, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of steel fabrication processes, equipment, and welding techniques.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Plan, organize, and control fabrication activities to meet project deadlines and production targets.
• Supervise shop floor operations including cutting, welding, fitting, and assembly of structural steel components.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with design, QA/QC, procurement, and project management teams for smooth workflow.
• Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machines, materials) for cost-effective production.
• Monitor daily production progress and prepare reports for senior management.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Manage and train production staff to maintain performance and productivity.
• Handle client inspections and ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., AWS, ISO, ASME, etc.).
