We are now looking for proactive, dynamic and solution-oriented Production Manager to join our team. The position is based in Rauma.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role you will lead the daily production at the Rauma plant. In this responsible role, you will have an impact on safety, operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction – every day.

You:

• are responsible for managing production in such a way that customer satisfaction remains at a high level.
• will lead operational activities from the perspective of efficiency and cost-effectiveness, coordinate and monitor daily operations and resources, and ensure that operations meet quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• will participate in identifying and developing new processes, particularly in the areas of safety, operations, quality, and IT.
• will promote well-being at work and participate in the planning of preventive and corrective measures.
• will participate in annual budget planning and provide input on setting annual targets.
• will monitor key indicators and report on the plant’s performance to the Plant Director.
• You will work closely with Plant Director, supervisors, production planning, HR and union representatives

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Master’s or Bachelors degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience in production leadership roles for at least 5 years within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving assembly industry
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent understanding of production planning, internal logistics, and team management.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
