Description

We are seeking a skilled Manager of the Polish Section who will be responsible for managing and optimizing the finishing processes, ensuring that products meet quality standards and have a high-quality finish. This role involves overseeing polish operations, managing resources, implementing quality control measures, minimizing defects, and achieving production targets. The manager will work closely with other production teams to coordinate workflows, improve productivity, reduce waste, and maintain a safe and compliant work environment. · Polishing Process Management: Oversee daily polish operations to ensure that production schedules and quality standards are met. · Quality Control: Implement inspection processes to ensure consistency in polish quality, color uniformity, and surface finish. · Resource Optimization: Manage materials, labor, and equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. · Process Improvement: Continuously analyze and improve the polish process to reduce cycle time and eliminate bottlenecks. · Team Development: Train and guide polish section staff, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture. · Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards in polish operations. · Reporting & Documentation: Track and report key production metrics, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. 8 to 10 years of experience in surface treatment or finishing processes within a manufacturing setup (preferably wood-based or modular products). Hands-on experience with manual or semi-automated application techniques (HVLP spray, roller coaters, drying ovens). Deep understanding of wood surface treatment, coating systems, and aesthetic finishing methods. Familiarity with process control metrics, defect analysis, and finishing equipment maintenance.
