Description:

We currently have a Production Manager position available for an immediate start.


As a Production Manager, your key responsibilities will include:


  • Lead the safe, efficient and commercially focused operation of the pack shed.
  • Plan production, labour and resources to meet customer demand and delivery requirements.
  • Manage labour, packaging, waste and operating costs against budget and KPIs.
  • Lead, coach and develop the team, driving accountability, capability and performance.
  • Drive productivity, process improvement, yield and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Oversee plant, machinery and preventative maintenance to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.
  • Maintain high standards of WHS, food safety, quality and customer specification compliance.
  • Manage inventory accuracy, stock movements and operational reporting, working closely with Farm Operations, Commercial and Quality teams.

Skills and Experiences:

About You

We're looking for someone who brings energy, initiative and a genuine passion for leading production teams. You'll ideally have:


  • Previous experience managing warehouse, logistics or distribution operations.
  • Forklift Licence required.
  • A hands-on leadership style and the ability to build credibility on the warehouse floor.
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience coaching and developing teams.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of improving operational performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience working in FMCG, fresh produce, food manufacturing, logistics or a similar fast-paced environment is highly regarded.
  • Sound computer skills and experience using warehouse or ERP systems.
