KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong computer proficiency especially in systems and functions used to manage and track repair and PLC Center processes at Radwell – Microsoft Dynamics sales order, “Reman” systems, Internal “Spectrum” tracking and receiving, and other systems and information tools used in these processes
  • Knowledge of production concepts in a light manufacturing service environment
  • Knowledge of and ability to create and improve internal processes; ability to tie system/human processes together in areas of responsibility
  • Knowledge of and understanding of the unique nature and flow of all responsible processes, especially those in use at Radwell and knowledge and understanding of Radwell’s uniqueness and special characteristics related to these processes
  • Ability to work at fast pace

  • Ability to manage and deal with personnel issues related to the workforce that reports up through this position

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or extensive equivalent experience with appropriate business concentration in production management, operations, and related disciplines
  • One to three years in a related environment with direct experience managing same or similar processes
  • Technical or Industrial product knowledge a plus
  • Experience managing/supervising a diverse staff of managers and employees; ability to interface with upper management
Responsibilities
  • Supervision of the Repair Production Supervisors
  • Oversee and ensure proper and efficient staffing of resources in all areas of responsibility; ensure overlap; cross training across functional areas where practical and appropriate
  • Analyze all standing production flow. Implement improvements that result in increased efficiency
  • Collaborate with our Senior Engineering Manager on expansion projects related to increased capabilities
  • Insure that appropriate assets are used for testing of product
  • Perform quarterly and year end reviews
  • May be modified from time to time; Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned
