Join a growing team that has been in the food and beverage industry for almost 30 years as a Production Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the success of production staff, quality, and production equipment. There will be times where you will be exposed to cold environments in this role. This is a direct hire role with the opportunity to earn a bonus. Candidates must have leadership skills and be willing to be flexible regarding your work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Develop: Train, mentor, and evaluate the production team to ensure top-tier performance and output.
• Optimize Production: Plan and implement efficient production schedules, policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure Quality & Safety: Work closely with the QA/QC team to guarantee a top-quality product and uphold food safety standards. This includes assisting with inspections and audits and cooperating with USDA inspectors.
• Manage Resources: Monitor labor hours against budget and assist with interviewing and scheduling for the kitchen crew.
• Collaborate and Implement: Support the product development team with new process implementation and handle employee corrective action and counseling as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production management experience
• Experience in food and beverage manufacturing
• GMP and Lean manufacturing knowledge
