Production Manager Department: Operations Employment Type: Full Time Location: Berlin Compensation: €45,000 - €55,000 / year Description Red Clover is a New Jersey based outsourced strategic Human Resources firm managing the recruitment process on behalf of a client. Tarisio is the leading international venue for fine instruments and bows. Launched in 1999, Tarisio revolutionized the market by combining first-class expertise, the efficiency of online bidding, and a firm commitment to ethics and professionalism. Our goal is to make buying and selling instruments increasingly accessible for musicians, patrons, dealers and collectors. We have offices in New York, London and Berlin, and conduct seven auctions per year as well as year round private sales of high value items, selling more than 3,000 fine instruments and bows annually to a truly global market. Based in our Berlin office, the Production Manager & Cataloguer oversees all presale operational activities and ensures that each auction and Private Sale is delivered on time, to standard and with a high degree of accuracy. The role combines project management, operational coordination, cataloguing, and inventory oversight, with responsibility for managing non-financial compliance, including endangered species (CITES) compliance. You will collaborate daily with specialists, photographers, luthiers and operations, and colleagues across London and New York. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, the ability to manage tight deadlines, and a proactive, hands-on mindset. Key Responsibilities Manage and deliver the full Berlin auction production timeline from intake to publication, coordinating all presale workflows Set and track deadlines for cataloguing, photography, condition reporting and lutherie work for all auctions and Private Sales Identify operational risks early and ensure all tasks and stakeholders remain aligned and on schedule Maintain accurate production schedules and records, ensuring full visibility across teams Improve and refine operational workflows, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to increase speed and accuracy Working with the bookkeeper, help coordinate shipping for auctions, private sales, trials and evaluations; liaise with couriers and logistics partners, negotiate contracts, and maintain updated shipping rate information. Manage endangered-species compliance tasks (CITES), including documentation preparation and physical certificate handling where required During periods of high volume, perform detailed cataloguing of instruments and bows and maintain accurate inventory records. Oversee vault and showroom organisation, ensuring safe storage and presentation of inventory Oversee day-to-day premises administration for the Berlin office, including supplies, maintenance, vendor coordination and ensuring a safe, well-organised working environment Execute best-in-class packing and handling standards for instrument safety and transport Act as a senior point of escalation for operational client questions Oversee completion of checklists, quality reviews and final sign-offs prior to catalogue publication You are an organised, proactive and detail-oriented project manager who thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
