Description:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations, including maintenance, inventory control, and quality assurance. This role works in close partnership with the Vice President of Operations to ensure production quotas are met, inventory is accurately maintained, and quality standards are consistently enforced.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including phone etiquette.
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker with a collaborative mindset and ability to lead or work within a team.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company environment.
  • Solid background in project management.
  • Knowledge of fiberglass manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Experience in product development (3+ years preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and provide strategic direction for floor leads and managers across all manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure effective coordination of resources to maintain accurate inventory control systems.
  • Manage and enforce manufacturing quality control processes to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team on new product initiatives and continuous product improvements.
  • Clearly define product concept designs and evaluate alternative design and manufacturing methods.
  • Analyze technical issues and develop solutions such as product redesigns, material substitutions, or subassembly modifications.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and product quality.
  • Support new manufacturing process development and innovation.
  • Partner with manufacturing teams and vendors to resolve production issues and optimize part designs.
  • Collaborate with ownership and senior management to support the company’s financial goals and sales growth objectives.
