With our headquarters located in Dallas, Texas, RKD Group is a remote-first company that has helped hundreds of nonprofits raise billions of dollars to fulfill their missions.  A Production Manager is a team player who has the ability and strength in personality to work on Custom DM Production and manage the Production Estimating along with the Account Service Team, Creative Team and vendors to manage assigned client accounts. They have demonstrated that they have a vast knowledge of the direct mail production industry. They possess a high level of responsibility in working to maintain profitability, proficiency, quality, and accuracy of jobs. They effectively manage a pod of accounts to ensure jobs are produced efficiently and on time. They manage the day-to-day production workflow from data/art release to mail date, and act as a liaison between internal departments and suppliers. They are responsible for assigned project bidding and client budgets as well as training new employees. The Production Manager will maintain vendor relationships and research resolutions when problems arise. A Production Manager is a problem solver offering suggestions and solutions on all projects that may prevent errors on current or future projects. They must be able to take any given project, analyze the program as well as all the time necessary to see it through completion, then schedule and work accordingly, alerting anyone necessary in a positive and professional manner of potential delays. This position requires the ability to multi-task, to have strong follow-up skills and provide detailed communication with all involved. Responsibilities: Essential Duties & Responsibilities  * Interpret and compose job orders for dp, mailing, and print purchasing based on project needs. * Interact daily with internal depts and suppliers for scheduling, qc, and monitoring projects. * Communicates effectively with team members regarding project scheduling and status. * Manage project bidding and client budgets. * Attend kick off meetings, provide input as to the most cost-effective package for each program, provide pricing/estimates, and complete billing for assigned clients.  * Set goals and objectives. Financial Responsibility * Understands financial targets and budget goals * Incorporates financial analysis into strategic decisions * Implements operating budget to address changing priorities * Creates sound business cases to support expenditures * Promotes conservation of organizational resources. The successful candidate will be an innovative problem solver who displays good judgement and decision making. They will be organized, promote quality work and exibit leadership skills to inspire others. Education & Experience: * Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.  * 5+ years direct mail agency experience preferred for senior level position. * Organizational, project and time management skills are essential. * PC literate and knowledge of MS Office products. * Basic understanding of Postal regulations regarding bulk mail and non-profit criteria. Pay Range expected for the position: $60,000-$80,000 annually.
