CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in similar role in manufacturing, engineering / machinery.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Hands on role liaising with Team Leaders in Assembly, Fabrication, Paint Shop, Engineering & Purchasing.
  • Enjoy the buzz of manufacturing
Responsibilities
  • To undertake engineering, manufacturing and design support as required
  • Will participate in the planning and execution of product development projects, and support technical aspects of product commercialisation.
  • Follow all information provided on the product specification forms
  • Make full use of any information supplied by personnel in sales
  • Keep an up to date production schedule running at all time with a maximum tolerance of eight percent.
  • Advise management weekly, re build delivery dates
  • Review personal levels and forecast issues before they arise
  • To work with the design manager on an up to date schedule
  • Be on the company premises 40 minutes before starting time to ensure that all moving of bigger parts is finished before regular starting time
  • Be on or close to the production floor to ensure a quick, prompt and well planned answer to any queries from floor personnel
  • Keep all working areas in a clean, safe and productive state
  • Keep a check on raw material stock levels
