Description

Education: A university degree from an accredited institution in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry
A fast-growing, Vaughan-based food company, operating multiple brands across retail, foodservice, and manufacturing throughout the USA and Canada, is currently seeking a Production Manager to oversee our production operations, lead a talented team, and ensure we deliver top-quality products on time and within budget. An experienced production leader who will drive efficiency, quality, and growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment is needed to join the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proven leadership experience managing 50–70 team members.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
· Proficiency in production management systems, CRM software, and related tools.
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques.
· Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality control regulations.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Certification in Production Management or Lean Six Sigma is an asset.
Note: Employee may be required to perform other duties as necessary to support the operational needs of the organization.

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
· Oversee and manage production budgets using CRM software, to enter daily production data, controlling labor, materials, and overhead costs.
· Allocate resources effectively to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
· Lead, mentor, and manage a team of supervisors, operators, and other production staff.
· Maintain adequate inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards while fostering a culture of safety awareness.
· Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and sales teams to align production with overall company objectives.
· Prepare and present regular production performance reports to senior management.
