Job Description Summary of Position The Production Manager position will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company’s culture and achievement of goals. The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee and manage all production process and teams within Washington operations. Oversee and manage all production supervisors. Plan and execute the production schedule. Set, plan and meet all production targets and goals. Review and adjust production schedule as needed. Ensure the timely completion of all direct-report employee reviews. Coach and guide all production team members, with the goal of improving overall competency of the production staff. Manage human and material resources needed to meet production targets. Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for production operations. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures. Set and monitor product quality standards. Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives. Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems. Determine and implement improvements to the production process. Prepare and maintain production reports. Estimate production costs. Set and manage production budgets, implementing cost control and cost saving programs. Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between departments including quality, engineering, maintenance procurement, logistics, warehouse, and management. Monitor KPI’s looking at OEE and labour hours per watt/panel. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and ADP software Hand-eye coordination, Manual dexterity Exceptional organizational and time management skills Traits Ability to work flexible and/or rotating shifts. Problem solving capability. Commitment to continuous learning Team- and customer-oriented Strong attention to detail Ability to head a team successfully and resolve issues relating to personnel quickly and efficiently.
