As the Production Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end factory production line—from importing parts to inventory, quality inspection, assembly, and final testing/reporting. You will coordinate multi-functional teams, including warehouse, assembly, maintenance, quality control, and safety. Your role will focus on boosting production efficiency and quality, driving process improvements and optimising assembly workflows, ensuring compliance with safety and cost-control requirements, while collaborating closely with overseas supply partners. You will help plan, organise, direct, control, and coordinate the manufacturing activities of our organisation, including physical and human resources.
l Create and implement local assembly production strategies, policies, and annual/quarterly plans to meet company volume and quality objectives.
l Optimise production schedules and resource allocation based on imported parts arrival, inspection results, output targets, and lead times.
l Manage the entire assembly process—from parts receipt through to finished vehicle dispatch—including enforcing quality controls, maintenance planning, shift coordination, and parts supply.
l Track production output and cost metrics, analyze performance, and implement continuous improvements to enhance assembly efficiency and resource utilisation.
l Provide regular reports to the management team on key production indicators such as volume, yield, cost, and safety incidents.
l Lead selection, procurement, installation, and commissioning of assembly equipment, combined with operator training and technical support.
l Drive assembly process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives—applying Design for Manufacturability (DfM), process capability analysis, risk identification, and corrective action.
l Manage comprehensive production records and quality data, ensuring traceability and compliance with ISO 9001/14001 standards.
l Lead factory safety and workplace health initiatives, deliver training, and promote a zero-incident safety culture.
l Oversee and develop cross-functional teams—production, quality, warehouse, and maintenance—by guiding, evaluating, and building their capabilities.
