The EuroTech Group Plc, based in Exmouth, Devon, is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of hi-tech printed circuit boards (PCBs), high precision hermetic metal packages and associated components for the electronics industry.
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our busy production team and manage the day-day production activities. This includes quality, on time delivery, and people. The role is part of a team of Production Managers, working in shifts and reporting to the Production Director.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous production supervisory experience
  • Practical, a good communicator both verbal and written, results orientated and resilient
  • Practical experience of problem-solving techniques, Lean-Six-Sigma/Continuous Improvement
  • A good level of numerical literacy
  • A sense of urgency, be committed and responsive
  • Previous experience of PCB production would be advantageous
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Supervising the safe and efficient execution of all shopfloor operations
  • Continually assessing the performance indicators of the shopfloor and develop corrective actions where necessary
  • Identify and resolve problems, involving other departments as needed
  • Lead and support team, developing and training people where necessary so they can conduct production operations efficiently
  • Implement improved work procedures that enhance manufacturing efficiency (LEAN)
  • Ensure all company policies, rules and operating procedures are always followed
  • Maintain appropriate records and complete necessary reports within a timely manner
  • Achieve 100% attainment of the weekly production schedule while adhering to quality control standards.
  • Attend daily Production Meetings, liaise with other Production Managers and support other departments as and when required.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work area.
