Job Description Job Summary: A Production material receiver handles the receiving of kitting and other items at Shop floor from the Warehouse kitting team and check the accuracy of the items received. Any discrepancies need to be reported and ensure no gaps with the receiving team. Follow ups on shortages and support line on continuous feeding of materials. Assist production lines with infeed and outfeed of materials and finish good. You will report to the Production Supervisor. You will work in Onsite work mode based in our Chennai plant in Kancheepuram, India. Your Responsibilities: Receive Kitting items at Shop floor based on the released production orders. Check for discrepancies on the kitted material received and report on the gaps Follow-up with the warehouse for the shortages and ensure continuous feed to line without any line stoppage Keep record of orders received and track the shortages SAP posting of material received and line consumption posting SAP releasing / tracking of production order and share kitting plan to warehouse team based on production plan SAP confirmation for order completed along with material confirmation Monitor Kanban shelves and fill them in when needed Work closely with Assembly Supervisor and Leader to align production plan and support on planning of material Kitting Operate material handling equipment to move products from Warehouse to Shop floor Perform all tasks to ensure a safe work environment The ability to work not only as part of a team but also on own initiative. Be agreeable to continual training in all areas of Shopfloor, warehouse operations Awareness and implementation of Health & Safety process Good time keeping is essential Keep parts and Shopfloor area orderly and clean Agreement to overtime when requested The Essentials - You Will Have: Diploma / Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in similar field Strong knowledge of warehouse management applications and Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with SAP WMS module and proficiency in using relevant software applications. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and obtain necessary certifications if required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by operational needs.
