QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to test assembled parts, vehicles & products to ensure functionality.
  • Experience with mining industry specific equipment (asset)
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other systems and their components with diagnostic problem-solving ability
  • 310-S or 310-T Certificate considered a strong asset
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds (assistance always available)
  • A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and drive to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Able to stand 90% of the time
  • Ability to work overhead for prolonged periods

Responsibilities
  • Assemble of build special purpose vehicles (SPV) according to specs and build sheets/instruction
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with SPV
  • Maintain appropriate records (i.e. inspection sheets)
  • Build/repair various mining component parts
  • Repair/overhaul customer units
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
