QUALIFICATIONS

  • A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a growing personal relationship with Him.
  • Agreement with and commitment to South Lebanon Community Church’s Affirmation of Faith and Practice.
  • Experience in live production (audio, video, and lighting) in a band/worship setting.
  • Strong skills in video editing, graphic design, and digital media creation.
  • Knowledge of production-related software (streaming, presentation, DAW, lighting control, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and Planning Center Services.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to lead and develop volunteers.
  • Completion of all clearances required by SLCC’s Child Protection Policy.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the operation of audio, visual, and lighting (AVL) systems for Sunday services (8:30, 9:40, and 11 AM) and other church events.
  • Produce and edit video content, including sermon bumpers, announcement videos, testimonies, ministry highlights, and event recaps.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and Thursday evening worship rehearsals.
  • Edit weekly service recordings for online platforms.
  • Design graphics, motion graphics, and visual content for use in worship services, social media, and church communications.
  • Support various technical needs of the church, including website updates, social media support, and managing other computer systems.
  • Collaborate with staff and ministry leaders to provide creative media support for church initiatives and events.
  • Contribute to branding and visual consistency across platforms (print, web, and digital media).
  • Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers in AVL and media production.
  • Use Planning Center to schedule and organize volunteer teams.
  • Provide ongoing development opportunities to grow volunteers’ production skills.
  • Manage AVL equipment inventory, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Oversee the production and technology budget in partnership with the Worship Arts Director.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide sound and media support for non-church events (funerals, weddings, banquets, etc.), with possible compensation provided by the event organizer.
