Description JOB SUMMARY This internship supports the Installations, Logistics, and Manufacturing (ILM) Business Unit at the Production Facility in Ogden, UT. The intern will assist with operational tasks and special projects, gaining hands-on experience in manufacturing, inventory systems, and process improvement. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives Work with in-house developers to improve and troubleshoot ERP/MRP system Support inventory tracking, cycle counts, and reconciliation Enter and maintain data in ERP/MRP systems Generate and analyze operational reports Support estimating and quoting tasks Assist with BOM creation from engineering drawings Support purchasing and order tracking Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams Perform general administrative and operational support tasks WHY WORK FOR GMRE? Requirements REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal guidance Basic Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency Ability to manage multiple tasks Analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills Team-oriented with ability to work independently EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field Prior internship or coursework related to manufacturing, operations, or data analysis is a plus, but not required SECURITY CLEARANCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Driving or renting a car for company business is expected with some frequency. For insurance purposes, a valid driver’s license is required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
