We are seeking dedicated and skilled Production Operators to join our client on the outskirts of Glastonbury working in the food production, dairy industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety protocols and mechanical knowledge, ensuring the efficient operation of production machinery while adhering to strict quality standards. This role is essential in maintaining our commitment to producing high-quality food products.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in food production or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor food production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Implement and follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines to maintain food safety throughout the production process.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, performing basic maintenance as needed to prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and address any production issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any discrepancies encountered.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment at all times.
  • Assist in cleaning down production areas after production completed each day
