Responsibilities

ROLE BRIEF

We are looking to expand our production; therefore, we are recruiting for a ‘Multi Department Operative’ at our factory based in Greenfield, Oldham.
As a ‘Multi Department Operative’, you will undertake full training and join our manufacturing team assisting your colleagues in producing the components for our beautiful Greenhouses and Glasshouses.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you must have experience within a fast-paced industry, be flexible with the ability to work as part of a team, as well as on your own and be willing to work overtime if required.
The role will require you to work in multiple departments, not just the ones listed below. You must be able to use your own initiative, work well on your own as well as with the supervisors of the departments.
The main departments you will be required to work in are as follows:-

COMPETENCIES AND ROLE REQUIREMENTS.

· Have significant self-motivation and initiative with the ability to manage own workload and work with minimum supervision.
· Have previous experience working within manufacturing
· You must have excellent communications skills.
· The ability to work as part of a team
· FLT Licence desirable or willingness to train.
· Manual lifting will be required
To have the ability to review and sign off on completion of all products to ensure quality is being maintained at the highest levels across the whole process.
