Responsibilities

ROLE

We are currently seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our mouldings team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection mould machines, ensuring the production of high-quality manufactured products that meet the required standards.
The starting salary for the role is £24,762 per annum, working 39 hours a week with a 20-minute paid break. Working Monday – Friday, with alternating weekly shift pattern of earlies 6:00 – 14:00 and lates 14:00 – 22:00, finishing an hour earlier on Fridays. Recognising that these hours differ from a typical 9-5 jobs, we pay a 10% shift allowance for the early shift and a 20% shift allowance for the late shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and maintain injection mould machines
  • Produce manufactured products according to specifications
  • Monitor the production process and ensure that products meet the required quality standards
  • Conduct regular inspections and identify any faults or non-conforming products
  • Report an issues or malfunctions to the Mouldings Manager or supervisor
  • Pack finished parts as required
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Record manufacturing process, parts made etc. on the ERP (Winman) shop floor data capture system
  • Use SOP as instructed
