Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified employees for the role of Production Operative to join our Liquids Production team, located in Dandenong South.
Reporting to the Team Leader this day shift role requires you to meet daily outputs, maintain a high level of quality while operating in a safe environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Operation of production equipment in line with operating instructions and responsible for adherence to quality control standards
  • Effectively mix and compound all product formulations in accordance with work order
  • Perform the setup and preparation of manufacturing equipment, including operation, clean and set-up of machinery/equipment
  • Control of production processes and performing tasks in compliance with GMP and HACCP principles including completion of relevant legal documents. With the and the ability to accurately complete batch records/forms/log books, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operating Manuals (OMs) in an efficient manner
  • Application of Safety and Quality policies, procedures and standards
  • Working in a dynamic environment, collaborating effectively across all technologies.

To be successful in this role:

  • Previous experience in FMCG manufacturing or relevant environment as a Machine/Production Operator or a Line Setter
  • Forklift Licence
  • Experience in the dairy/food/pharmaceutical/FMCG or a GMP environment is highly desirable
  • Have a solid understanding of GMP/HACCP in a Food Manufacturing environment
  • To possess, demonstrate and apply excellent stand-up / reach forklift operation skills
  • Competent ability to use and understand various computer applications (SAP application skills highly regarded)
  • Experience of working with Dangerous Goods & Chemicals highly regarded
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instruction
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills with a very positive attitude
