ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a hard-working and reliable Machine Operator to join our production team. The role is mainly focused on slitting operations across 2–3 machines, but also includes general factory support tasks such as cleaning, housekeeping, and preparing materials.
The right person will have common sense, strong work ethic, and the ability to learn quickly. This is a hands-on job for someone who takes pride in doing things properly and is happy to get stuck in wherever needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and monitor slitting machines (2–3 different slitters).
• Set up machines and materials according to job requirements.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of finished work.
• Carry out general production support tasks, including:
• Making boxes and preparing materials for packing.
• Staging rolls and consumables for upcoming jobs.
• Topping up inks or supplies when asked.
• Helping with faster changeovers.
• Keep the factory clean and organised, including:
• Brushing up, cleaning work areas, and emptying bins.
• Returning tools and consumables to their proper place.
• Report issues (machine faults, safety concerns, shortages) promptly to the Supervisor.
• Follow all health, safety, and compliance requirements.
