JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Production Operative to join our General Assembly (GA) team in Stevenage. This hands-on role involves assembling PCBs, cable wiring, and chassis according to customer specifications and drawings. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment, we’d love to hear from you!

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven ability to assemble PCBs, cable wiring, and chassis
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions

• Assemble products following customer drawings and instructions
• Complete production documentation accurately
• Use equipment and tooling correctly, ensuring calibration is up to date
• Meet daily production targets
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
• Follow environmental policies and procedures
• Adhere to AS/EN 9100 & ISO 9001 quality standards
• Comply with health & safety regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
