Previous experience in a food production environment is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation is advantageous.
Proven ability to work well in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities
To work as a Production Operative in the Blend Department where the main activities include weighing up, mixing, packing, stacking and material handling;
Ensure a quality process throughout from the product, to the packaging, to adhering to corporate quality standards;
Ensure relevant paperwork is completed on time, and suggest improvements where applicable;
Adhere to corporate sanitation standards at all times;
Adhere to NWF health and safety policy, reporting any near misses or issues observed relating to quality, safety, sanitation, machinery or throughput to the Department Manager
