You may not have heard of Stage One, but you will have seen our work. From the set of the TV show The Voice, to the Mercury Music Prize stage and even the 2012 Olympic Cauldron we produce work that is seen all over the world.
We are a creative construction and manufacturing company and are responsible for delivering some of the most iconic projects in recent times. We are a multi-disciplined manufacturing facility spread over 12,000Sqm of estate with four manufacturing and storage facilities, engineering, fabrication, woodwork, finishing and a specialist manufacturing facility.
The Operations Department functions to support the overall running of all the departments, this includes: wrapping and packing, loading and unloading of trucks, internal site to site transport, plant maintenance, waste management, estate management.

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE ROLE

Production Operatives working within the Operations Department provide support to all the production departments and workshops to ensure projects are prepared and loaded before leaving for show venues across the UK, Europe and Worldwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safe loading and unloading of trucks.
• Preparing built items and road boxes for site.
• General support within the production departments may include, basic painting, sanding & filling and simple assembly work.
• Moving manufactured scenic parts between production departments requiring the use of manual handling skills.
• Using a tablet for loading and unloading items.
• Completing housekeeping tasks and waste management duties within the workshop and external loading bays.
• Completing daily maintenance checks.
• Completing of electronic timesheets daily.

DETAILS OF THE ROLE

Salary: £12.56 - £12.80 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30-16:00 with overtime and occasional weekend work as required
Location: Tockwith, York
