We are currently recruiting for Packing Operatives at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. As a Packing Operative you will be responsible for supporting production activity by packing finished bagged products into trays, crates and onto pallets. This is a physically demanding role which will require lifting and stacking of trays and boxes of varying weighs up to 25KG. General other factory duties will also be required. Shift & Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday - fixed shift, working 18:00hrs to 02:15hrs Salary: £12.71 per hour (plus 50p per hour backshift premium) Responsibilities Accurately pack finished potato products into containers, ensuring that all products meet quality and weight specifications. Inspect products for any defects or quality issues, reporting any concerns to the supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, following all health and safety protocols. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines. Previous experience in production or packing roles is advantageous, particularly in the food industry. Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards. Physical fitness is required, as the role may involve lifting and standing for extended periods. Positive attitude and a strong work ethic to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
