SALARY: £25,000 PER YEAR

A well established large format print specialist in Leeds is looking for a Production Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in the print and graphics industry, starting from the ground up with full training provided in time.
The Role

As a Production Assistant you will support the day to day running of the workshop. Your duties will include:

  • Packing and preparing customer orders for delivery
  • Handling stock and keeping the production area organised
  • Occasionally carrying out collections or deliveries using the company van
  • Learning how to operate a variety of equipment, from large format digital cutters through to digital printers, with full training provided

This is a entry level role where you will be given the opportunity to learn and progress as you develop your skills.
The Person

The business is looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, enthusiastic and eager to learn
  • Ideally has a couple of years of warehouse or packing experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable with manual handling and hands on work
  • Able to work well within a busy production team
  • A safe and confident driver with a full UK licence for occasional van use
