Amcor Oakham are currently recruiting for production operatives for our busy injection moulding factory.
Main duties include carrying out quality control checks, operating a range of equipment from handle fit machines and automated pallet stackers to injection moulding machines.
Here at Amcor, we offer a pay grade structure allowing individuals with the right skills and desire, to progress from a level 1 production operator through to a level 4 advanced operator. Beyond that there is the potential to progress into process technician roles and more.
Previous experience working with injection moulding machines would be beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate to allow progression through the pay grades. At Amcor we are actively seeking hard working candidates with a desire to learn new skills and progress, an eye for detail and a willingness to follow procedures at all times. An understanding of mechanical principles is fundamental to allow progression and all candidates will be required to undertake a mechanical reasoning test either before or at interview.
Upon successful application a training plan will be developed with your line manager with a target to progress from a level 1 production operator to a level 4 advanced operator within 12-18 months.
Hours of work - Monday to Friday 10pm to 6am with half hour paid break
All training given on site

Pay: £27,755.18-£31,810.81 per year
