A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY HAS OPENED WITH A LUXURY KITCHEN MANUFACTURER IN KIRKBY-IN-ASHFIELD.

We’re looking for a skilled and hands-on Edge Banding Production Operative to join our growing team. This is a practical, physical role that involves working with edge banding equipment and supporting the wider production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating edge banders, routers, and other woodworking machinery
• Tracking and recording daily KPIs
• Assisting line managers by monitoring team performance and progress
• Supporting with stock control and material handling
• Ensuring GMP audits are completed daily
• Reporting breakdowns or production issues to your line manager
• Conducting ongoing quality assurance throughout production
• Performing heavy lifting tasks regularly
• Maintaining a tidy and safe work area with a clean as you go approach

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30
• 1x 30-minute unpaid break
• 2x 10-minute paid breaks
• Some flexibility required to meet business demands

Pay & Benefits:

• £12.21 – £14.00 per hour (based on experience and performance)

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with edge banding machinery or in a woodwork-based production role is highly desirable
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Strong attention to detail and performance tracking
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team
• Willing to learn and grow within the company
