The Production Operator's responsibility is to accomplish the miscellaneous jobs necessary for daily production. This person is also responsible for other duties given by the supervisor. This person must work well independently and also with a team. Requirements Operate equipment to assist in the production process Assemble materials and equipment as required Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met Support continuous process improvement efforts Support other departments as needed Ensure compliance with all GMP’s, GDP’s, Barlean’s SOP’s, and SQF regulations. Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRMENTS Attention to Detail-documentation oriented processes. Self-starter and follow through. Task Oriented. Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, and climb ladder and stairs. Mechanical Aptitude. Flexible to work overtime when needed. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Experience in working in a manufacturing environment preferred. WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions are normal for a plant/manufacturing environment.
