Function: Supply Chain - Manufacturing
Location: Shawell
Reporting to: Production Manager
Standard Hours (inc shift pattern): 48 hours per week - Monday to Thursday rotating between 06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00
BMI UK&I have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Production Operator to join our team.

YOUR KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

You will work closely and collaborate with the team being responsible for all areas of the tile manufacturing process and ensuring that our products are made to the highest quality standards.
You will directly contribute to and support the overall performance of the Plant by playing a vital role in achieving the daily production volume targets.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a team within a fast paced/busy working environment.

AS THE PRODUCTION OPERATOR, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Adhering to Health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Operating and maintaining Production line machinery, equipment and mobile plant.
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness by taking full ownership of your working area.
  • Regular quality control monitoring and recording through both visual and physical inspection of products.
  • Identification and safe resolution of Breakdowns and quality issues in partnership with the Maintenance team.
  • Proactively report safety and quality issues as soon as they are discovered.
