PRODUCTION OPERATOR
We are currently seeking a Production Operator to support our Arnprior team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12 graduate
- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Able to work 8 hour rotating shifts
- Able to participate on Emergency Response Team.
- Flexible to doing Shift Work.
- Able to work weekends if necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Complete required paperwork for traceability of product
- Inform Supervisor/Process owners on quality issues
- Perform all required Quality checks daily
- Ensure safe operating procedures are always followed
- Strict adherence to Job Safety Hazard Analysis, Ontario Health & Safety Act & Regulations and all Plant Safety Rules/Protocols
- Identify safety issues and concerns
- Take corrective action; monitor the corrective action
- Train/assist new employees on safety and quality requirements
- Operate various machinery on shop floor, ie, Pilger Mills, Amtrex, Polisher, HPTR’s,
- Verify Quality requirements as per specifications for all products.
- Meet demanding productivity goals
- Perform repetitive work without losing effectiveness
- Keep up with high-speed equipment and/or production demand
