ABOUT THE ROLES

In this role, you’ll be part of a team of operators that are responsible for operating machinery to ensure material is produced to the commercial standard, identifying, and reporting faults and working in a safe manner.
24/5 - 8-hour weekday shifts, no weekends/public holidays OR 24/7 - 12-hour rotating shifts, includes weekends/public holidays

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Engage the team to ensure the delivery of safe, low cost, efficient and high-quality production
• Deliver on production KPIs
• Ensure appropriate communication and feedback is in place, including technical review and recommendation of machine / site running conditions
• Complete routine maintenance tasks, such as high-pressure cleaning, removal of waste material from pits, channels, and vessels
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, including shovelling, sweeping, painting and vacuuming,
• Test operation of machines periodically & fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Maintain activity logs & carry out quality inspections
