Responsibilities

DUTIES:

Production Operator role is an essential position within the business to ensure that our customers’ requirements are met; legislative requirements are adhered to; production is within specification; good manufacturing practices are adhered to and that staff carry out their job tasks with competence and accuracy. Food safety and product quality are always front of mind.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that our products and services are efficiently produced to a high-quality standard and in a timely manner.
  • Primary focus is on the compounding and preparation of a diverse range of ingredients.
  • Ensuring that all work is conducted in a safe and environmentally aware manner and that production objectives are met as a cooperative member of the Production team.
  • Accurately weighing out components as per the batch record
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities assigned to you by the company to the best of your abilities and knowledge. Assigned duties may vary depending on the business conditions and seasonal variations.
  • Exercise reasonable care and skill in performance of your duties
  • Ensuring good hygiene at your workstations is maintained.
  • Participate in training and professional development as and when needed.
  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety to ensure that your actions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others.
  • Cooperate with and comply with any instructions, policies, or procedures related to health or safety in the workplace that have been communicated to workers.
