EXPERIENCE

• Preferably have general experience in working in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of heavy plant machinery
• Driving experience of industrial vehicles
• A strong understanding of the importance of & commitment towards upholding HSE compliance
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance

• Reporting to the Team Leader and working as part of a team to ensure maximum plant utilisation
• Operating heavy plant & machinery
• Forklift truck driving, over-head crane & quality control
• Ensuring compliance with strict HSE regulations & company rules
• Adhering to workplace standards
• Ensuring that all work carried out conforms to the requirements of Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental and Energy policies.
• Ensuring compliance with PPE standards at all times e.g. air-flow helmets, P3 masks, heavy overalls, nitrile gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs etc.
• Maintain high standards of operational performance, housekeeping, HSE etc.
• Give blood lead sampling as required to monitor blood lead levels.
• Ability to learn quickly and undertake training as required
• Liaise with other process workers, Team Leaders and other personnel in any relevant department to ensure smooth running of the area.
• Undertake any duties allocated by the Team Leader, Shift Manager or other senior managers as and when required.
